      "Artist’s Comment": [
        "I initially went through numerous designs for the Community Krea",
        "tor token, all very different from each other. I looked at Japan",
        "ese resin art, pretty medical badge holders (I used to work in a",
        " hospital), and finally, silver coins (issued by the government;",
        " legal tender) and decorative silver rounds (private mint; not u",
        "seable as currency). In all drafts and designs, I included hydra",
        "ngea flowers.  The English ivy, placement of the girl, and gener",
        "al crescent moon framing on the outer rims of the design are aft",
        "er Alfons Mucha. The girl, hair, clothing, and the decorative in",
        "fill from the hydrangea flowers into the centre are all original",
        ". One of the pieces I referenced was a Nijijourney digigraph I p",
        "rompted some months ago: that inspired the overall shape of the ",
        "forelock in front of the girl’s face."

      "About the Creative Process": [
        "I’ve drawn Art Nouveau works before, or at least, tried; Alfon",
        "s Mucha was a great inspiration to me as a child, I loved his wo",
        "rks when I first discovered them on Wikipedia; my favourite art ",
        "museum is still the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum in Orlando, Flor",
        "ida, which houses many Art Nouveau works, including those by Muc",
        "ha. But I’ve never tried to render something as if it were *sc",
        "ulptural*, really sculptural, as if it were an actual ultra-high",
        " relief coin. So that was a challenge. First, I drew the contour",
        "s, as if it were a poster, like usual… Then, making this paint",
        "ing look like metal—I started with the English ivy leaves at t",
        "he top of her hair, then jumped between going down those leaves,",
        " to her dress, to her face and so on. I know some parts aren’t",
        " super realistic metal, like perhaps her neck is too matte… Bu",
        "t overall I’m very happy with how it all turned out. And creat",
        "ing all the different sorts of layers and effects to make the di",
        "fferent kinds of metals, too! That was careful work, it was very",
        " fun, I enjoyed myself a lot. "

      "Inspiration for the Design": [
        "When I finally settled on an Art Nouveau design, I initially tho",
        "ught the badge would be like one of Alfons Mucha’s prints. I v",
        "ery rapidly changed my mind after admiring the silver pieces I m",
        "entioned above: a particular inspiration was the Cook Islands『",
        "Silver Burst』series, both 2021 and 2022 coins legal tender; yo",
        "u can use these to buy milk. It’s an extremely modern and *bea",
        "utiful* design in ultra-high relief, and I thought to myself: ",
        "“Blessed land this is *Art*.” I really do recommend looking ",
        "it up when you get the chance. And I thought, “Well if people ",
        "can use something so beautiful to buy milk, we ought to award so",
        "mething just as beautiful to our Artists who make our community.",
