        "There are dreams that are not pleasant. They occur when our brai",
        "n wakes up a little before our body. It's an incomplete awakenin",
        "g, a transition between sleep and wakefulness. This phenomenon i",
        "s called sleep paralysis. A person under this state is cognitive",
        "ly awake, but cannot move, talk or even breathe normally. The pe",
        "rson is conscious, but remains still.\nThere was a time when I ha",
        "d sleep paralysis. Because of this I could not sleep, so I was p",
        "rescribed a drug named Benzodiazepine. In a few days the medicat",
        "ion worked and not only I was able to sleep, but I started a per",
        "iod of lucid dreaming. In those dreams I wandered around a new u",
        "niverse made up of strange, moving landscapes. Every color had i",
        "ts own journey that, far from being apart, was related to the re",
        "st shaping one unity. Nothing remained in the same place for lon",
        "g. Chaos reigned, but it was not a disorganization: it was a new",
        " order.\nSo I decided to portrait this universe composed by lands",
        "capes, colors, movements and chaotic relationships in a series o",
        "f drawings and paintings. I merged different techniques such as ",
        "collage, monotype and primer in addition to the use of different",
        " materials which, combined with each other, establishing relatio",
        "nships between all the elements.\nMy body, its movement, the pres",
        "sure executed by the way each material entries and exits from th",
        "e canvas are actions which show part of my creative process reve",
        "aling the urgency of recreating this chaotic universes in a brut",
        "al and uncontrolled way, very similar to the strange present we ",
        "are living."
